A day of waking up

leads to a day of breakfasts

good breakfasts

ones of nudity beneath dressing gowns

birdnest hair and blurry eyes

hot coffee and not too hot Earl grey

Toast, eggs, bacon, tomato, mushroom

pane tostato, uova, pancetta affumicata, pomodoro, fungi...

a cigarette

a smile

and then afterwards

a simple day of reading and smiling

and thinking of the day before
